Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:

Ø Work as a Developer with Listed Derivatives Back-office team to define business and technical requirements.

Ø Liaising with the vendors and Global IT teams on change management for our core Back-office platform

Ø Using database design, ETL (Informatica), Unix scripting and/ or SQL scripts to deliver the required solution  

Ø Deliver high quality change within the deadlines

Ø Report issues/ challenges/ status to senior management, create and drive implementation plans.

Ø Understand and follow organizational, team level processes and best practices

Key Skills:

Ø Experience in working on simple to medium complexity development tasks like developing SQL programs, scripts and using tools like Informatica etc

Ø    Very strong database design skills. Strong exposure to Performance Tuning and Db Optimisations skills.

Ø Good Knowledge of ETL Informatica & DB2/Oracle (mandatory). Experience in WebServices ,HTTP,XML transformation will be good.

Ø Knowledge of Unix and Business Objects (preferable).

Ø Knowledge of Java technologies will be a plus

Ø Good understanding of Financial securities, especially Derivatives knowledge will be a plus

Ø Ability to remain calm and in high-pressure situations to smartly deal with stakeholders

Ø Experience in Finance, especially Capital Market will be added advantage
