Role & Responsibilities:
- Creation of test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for Nomura applications
- Lead functional and automation testing activities for Wealth Management applications
- Design, develop and maintain comprehensive and test cases
- Perform end-to-end testing of complex integrations between Wealth Management, Middle Office, and Front Office systems
- Manage defect lifecycle including identification, documentation, tracking, and verification
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and users
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Track issues and work with project managers and development team to resolve issues.
- Participate in JIRA review meetings during test cycles.
- Participate in project health checks.
- Use QA standard test document templates and methodology

Key Skills:
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of common Investment Banking platforms
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Working experience in Avaloq Core Banking product
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with Test Master tool.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Relevant test automation experience in Java and Java Script is good to have.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive demeanor
