Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
- Working directly with project stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements and approach for Regulatory Reporting Projects.
- Understand the liquidity regulatory requirements of all key word regions and specifically Japan and EMEA
- Understand the current and upcoming liquidity regulatory requirements.
- Prepares FSD and get it reviewed with business
- Help IT development team with BRD and FSD walkthrough
- Prepares and reviews the testing scope, test cases and test scenarios
- Works with IT dev team for testing
- Responsible for functional testing and sign off during IT regression testing.
- Works with business for UAT
- Work with development leads, teams, PMO team members and ensure project governance is executed in accordance to the banks policy including release management and go-live deliverables
- Make sure that Agile methodologies has been followed in line with bank policy.
- Create and maintain various project artefacts such as project plans, change requests, status update etc.
- Provide regular updates to management, stakeholders and PMO on project deliverables and deadlines
- Ensure escalation for any risk, issues, change requests, milestone impacts in timely manner
