Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Role Overview:
Nomura is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology projects and initiatives, managing the full project lifecycle from scope definition through to successful delivery, within agreed time and budget constraints. The role requires strong capability in bridging technical teams and business stakeholders, with a focus on project planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, resource allocation and vendor management to ensure timely and effective delivery.
This role is based out of Mumbai, India, and forms part of Nomura Service India Private Limited. The successful candidate should be flexible to work outside standard business hours or during weekends, when required, to ensure that critical project deliveries are not impacted.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
- Experience: Overall, 8 to 10 years of IT Infra Project Management
- Methodologies: Strong proficiency in Project Management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall project management.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE or Agile-related certifications are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication, negotiation skills
- MIS Reporting with strong hand’s on XLS, Power Point to create multiple report
- Having Infra related Disaster Recovery Knowledge or DR co-ordination activities
- Candidates should have an IT infrastructure background with experience delivering technical/ infrastructure-led projects.
Common Tools:
- Project Management Software: JIRA, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Documentation/ Collaboration: Confluence, SharePoint, MS Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Project Delivery: Deliver IT projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Planning & Control: Maintain project plans, WBS, RAID and change control.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the key interface between IT and business teams.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure PMO compliance with clear, executive‑level reporting.
- Execution & Documentation: Drive actions to closure and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
