Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

Mandatory Technology  :           Autosys (Administrator)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 1st and 2nd level of handling of Autosys environments catering to Nomura globally.
• Willing to work in highly demanding 24x7 production support environment
• Ensure all reporting of incidents is presented in an accurate and timely manner
• Production support involving round the clock dependent activities for global regions and cross-teams.
• Identify and document procedures which lead to timely resolution to incidents and problems
• Monitoring / Scheduling Jobs in the Autosys environments abiding by the Change & Audit guidelines.
• Troubleshooting of all scheduling / execution issues of the batches.
• Supporting the Autosys services in Cloud via Ansible Tower, Cisco Cloud Centre Manager, etc

Key Skills:

• Primary Interest in IT infrastructure domain
• Basic UNIX skills & shell scripting
• Experience in Scheduling Tools (i.e Autosys R12 and higher)
• Experience in Tools such as ServiceNow, CMDB, ZScaler, Splunk, EEM (Embeded Entitlements Manager), etc
• Experience in Databases such as Sybase, SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Experience in supporting IT systems in a multi-platform, multi-site, mission critical environment on a 24*7 basis.

• Ability to work independently as well as working on project teams.
• Develop and Document procedures required for production release of new and enhanced features of scheduling service as well as accompanying operational process documentation required for steady-state service management.
• Fast learner with interest in improving technical knowledge.
• Able to work alone or in a team and both under instruction or to own initiative.
• Good communications and interpersonal skill
