Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Position Specifications:
Division : GPSE
Experience : 1-3 Years
Qualification : Graduate (Engineering/Science)
Mandatory Technology : Autosys (Administrator)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 1st and 2nd level of handling of Autosys environments catering to Nomura globally.
- Willing to work in highly demanding 24x7 production support environment
- Ensure all reporting of incidents is presented in an accurate and timely manner
- Production support involving round the clock dependent activities for global regions and cross-teams.
- Identify and document procedures which lead to timely resolution to incidents and problems
- Monitoring / Scheduling Jobs in the Autosys environments abiding by the Change & Audit guidelines.
- Troubleshooting of all scheduling / execution issues of the batches.
- Supporting the Autosys services in Cloud via Ansible Tower, Cisco Cloud Centre Manager, etc
Key Skills:
- Primary Interest in IT infrastructure domain
- Basic UNIX skills & shell scripting
- Experience in Scheduling Tools (i.e Autosys R12 and higher)
- Experience in Tools such as ServiceNow, CMDB, ZScaler, Splunk, EEM (Embeded Entitlements Manager), etc
- Experience in Databases such as Sybase, SQL, Oracle, etc.
- Experience in supporting IT systems in a multi-platform, multi-site, mission critical environment on a 24*7 basis.
- Ability to work independently as well as working on project teams.
- Develop and Document procedures required for production release of new and enhanced features of scheduling service as well as accompanying operational process documentation required for steady-state service management.
- Fast learner with interest in improving technical knowledge.
- Able to work alone or in a team and both under instruction or to own initiative.
- Good communications and interpersonal skill
