Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Below are the key responsibilities of the Process Re-engineering role:
1.
Identify and implement solutions via automation/ai to eliminate/streamline manual processes
2.
Identify and implement improvements within the engineering process across group
3.
Work closely with Development & Infrastructure teams across group
4.
Promote regional governance frameworks and standards
5.
Help promote regional adoption of best practices and standardized processes
The Process Re-engineering team focuses on the removal of TOIL in the firm through automation and process streamlining. The team works closely with application development teams and infrastrucutre platform engineering teams across group to eliminate inefficiencies and repetitive tasks.
Skills & Experience Required:
•
Strong knowledge in Python (or alternative), Ansible, YAML
•
Examples of projects that you have built using above languages
•
Enthusiasm and the ability to learn and apply new technologies
•
Ability to work well both individually and as a team to tight deadlines
•
Systematic problem-solving approach
•
Ownership and ability to self-drive Process Re-engineering identified projects
•
Strong communication skills for cross team collaboration
