Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack web development, equally well versed in both front end and back end development.
• Proficiency in developing React for UI development and Java, Spring Boot applications for backend.
• Should have strong core web development skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript and Typescript.
• Should be able to write high quality UI tests and demonstrate familiarity with UI testing tools.
• Should have a strong foundation on OOPS and design principles.
• Should be able to write and debug complex SQL queries.
• Should be familiar with DevOps practices and tools.
• Candidate should be a quick learner and should be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Should have strong listening, problem solving, analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good team player who would be required to work closely with the regional teams
• Leadership skills will be an added advantage

Good to have

• Candidate with prior hands on experience on design, develop and deploy solutions on AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
