Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in Java programming. (Preferable JDK 1.8+)
  • Hands-on with GIT, Maven / Gradle, Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis / Design.
  • Experience in writing unit/integration tests with good understanding of code quality and code coverage.
  • Good to have multithreading, performance tuning, memory optimization experience.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Work independently on given tasks seeking minimum technical help from colleagues.
  • Possess basic design skills, should be able to come up with approach / low level design for a given task.
  • Excellent communication and team skills.

 

Desirable:

  • AWS
  • Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Basic UI experience
  • Python
  • Desirable to have prior investment Banking or Risk management knowledge.
