Roles and Responsibilities

• Own critical components of applications and perform end to end analysis, design, development, unit testing and delivery.  
• Adopt the latest SDLC practices like Containerization (Docker), Orchestration (Kubernetes), Test Driven Development, Telemetry and Agile practices to reduce time to deliver high quality
• Partner with BAs to understand project scope and requirements
• Partner with QA teams to design system to maximize testing automation.
• Provide regular updates regarding status or progress made to managers and stakeholders.

• Gain understanding of various applications and systems being developed by the group

Skills

• Solid understanding of Core Java
• Good experience on Multi-threading and Collections
• Good experience in Spring, Spring boot, Spring Integration/Apache Camel
• Strong RDBMS knowledge
• Good understanding of ORM technologies like Hibernate and JPA
• Experience of Middleware technologies like Solace, Tibco EMS and JMS
• Experience in Distributed and Micro-Services Architecture
• Experience in Performance analysis and tuning of application
• Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills & excellent communication skills (spoken and written English and listening skills)
• Good to have knowledge on AWS Cloud Hosting and understanding of various services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda etc.) and Containerization (like Docker, Kubernetes etc.).
• Domain knowledge of Investment Banking specifically Synethtic Prime Brokerage would be highly desirable.
