In order to further support the business and Nomura’s market profile across a broad range of clients, India Equity Research team is looking to hire at the Associate level.
Responsibilities
- Join as an integral part of Asia ex-Japan research team suppoting the Indian Equity Research team.
- Candidate should preferably have experience working in Equity Research.
- Work on financial statements of companies, build and maintain earnings and valuation models.
- Track & report news/events on coverage names, maintaining industry/ company databases.
- Build marketing presentations.
- Assist in research production process.
- Initially role will be modelling and database heavy and over the period candidate will be expected to assist in writing full or parts of research report.
- Company contacts and discussion, Interaction with sales & traders.
Requirements
- MBA from top tier colleges / CA, CFA will be a plus
- Distinctive academic record: consistently highly graded within their peer group
- Strong at compiling and analyzing data
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral) with keen attention to details.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis and security valuation.
- Knowledge of advance MS Excel & MS PPT and experience dealing with financial data and databases.
- Ability to formulate and articulate views logically
- Superior research writing skills
1-3 years work experience as an equity research associate
