Business Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Macro Strategist to join our CIO Office in Private Banking. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting research, developing valuation frameworks across asset classes, work on cross-asset allocation models and providing a data driven decision making framework to support our investment strategies.

 

  • Exposure to multiple asset classes from equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, HFs across the international markets – US, JP, EU, HK, CN etc.
  • Work on macro commentary, strategies and create systems, frameworks and analytics to analyse portfolios and various market scenarios.

0-5 years’ experience in Macro Strategy or in Equities/Fixed Income/Hedge Fund/Private Markets

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering

 

 

Role & Responsibilities:

•   Take ownership of weekly macro commentaries, monthly chart packs and quarterly Outlook reports

•   Create data driven decision making frameworks for valuations and cross-asset allocation.

•   Preference in case individual has experience with non-traditional asset classes like hedge funds and private markets in order to collaborate with the Managed Investments team.

•   Analyse and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions. Work with the Quants team for creating different models.

•   Conduct research on various markets, asset classes, and investment products to inform investment strategy

•    Collaborate with other team members to identify and prioritize investment opportunities and risks

•    Provide timely and accurate analysis and insights to senior team members and investment committees.

•    Continuously monitor and assess the performance of our investment strategies and models

•    Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in investment research and asset allocation.
