Business Unit Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Investment Product and Advisory Solutions Business Transformation team. Reporting to the Head of Platforms, you will play a crucial role in implementing new systems and digitalization efforts for implementing product solutions, order management, execution, and trade lifecycle management platform changes. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency and support key strategic business transformation initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities:

·         Support in executing strategic business transformation initiatives in domain of Capital Markets Investment Solution

·         Gather requirements from Product Owners and end users, translating them into user stories, business requirement documents, ensures alignment with stakeholder needs

·         Conducts analysis of current business processes, identifies inefficiencies, focus on continuous improvement, process re-engineering translated to target operating model and provides data-driven recommendations for optimizations.

·         Conduct data gathering, analyze and prepare data driven insights, review design and functional specifications and solutions against business requirements and operational processes

·         Ensures artifacts and deliverables meet project management standards for all transformation projects

·         Assist Programme Manager with project planning, coordination, issue resolution, and executive updates

·         Collaborate with Business/Technology Owners to ensure value creation and operational efficiency

·         Work with technology teams and vendors to resolve system issues effectively and timely

·         Manage risks, issues, and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves minor project issues and escalates to management when necessary

·         Ensure engagement with business integrity, process owners, control functions e.g. legal, compliance, risk management, product control, treasury and finance as determined by implications of the change

 

Scrum Team Leadership and Delivery

·         Define and prioritize product vision, roadmap, and backlog aligned with program priorities

·         Maintain a clear and transparent product backlog

·         Align timelines with stakeholder needs and readiness criteria

·         Accept new user stories into the baseline

·         Facilitate problem-solving sessions to support project delivery

·         Help deepen domain knowledge within Scrum teams

 

Business Readiness Testing and Scope Management

·         Act as Test Manager for pre-UAT testing, designing and executing test plans to ensure system readiness

·         Conduct thorough pre-UAT testing to identify and resolve issues before formal UAT begins

·         Translate business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases into comprehensive test conditions for user acceptance testing

·         Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and test environments for pre-UAT and UAT phases

·         Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the system are thoroughly tested

·         Analyze and classify test findings, prioritizing issues for resolution

·         Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes and retesting

·         Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders, product owners and project managers

·         Write detailed business functional release notes to communicate changes and new features

·         Develop user training materials to support smooth adoption of new systems or processes

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Treasury/Markets, Private Banking & Wealth Management, with exposure to Front Office Capital Markets
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Subject Matter Expert in Capital Markets Investment Products in the wealth management financial services sector
  • Extensive knowledge of derivative products, trade management, lifecycle & corporate actions
  • Strong understanding of investment product lifecycle workflows and key regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, global strategic initiatives
  • Experience in formal project management, including initiation, solution, execution, quality assurance, and rollout
  • Proficiency in Excel, Visio, JIRA & Confluence
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
