We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our Wealth Management Business Transformation team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of driving change and innovation within our wealth management division, working on high-impact projects that shape the future of our business. You will specialize in areas such as Managed Investments Solutions, Private Markets, Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory, and Discretionary Portfolio Management, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex business analysis initiatives across specialized domains, including Managed Investments, Private Markets, Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory, and Discretionary Portfolio Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various levels of the organization to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in these specialized areas
  • Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories specific to wealth management products and services
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains in investment strategies and portfolio management
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups, including investment managers, advisors, and clients
  • Create and present compelling business cases, reports, and presentations to senior management, incorporating data-driven insights and financial modelling
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements in the wealth management space
  • Perform advanced data analysis and financial modelling to support decision-making processes and investment strategies
  • Contribute to the development of the overall business transformation strategy, with a focus on enhancing investment products and services
  • Mentor junior business analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with data science teams to develop and implement predictive models and analytics tools for portfolio optimization and risk management

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3+ years with specialization in the wealth management financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and regulatory environment, particularly in Managed Investments, Private Markets, Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory, and Discretionary Portfolio Management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale transformation projects in the wealth management domain engaging cross-functional divisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN) and financial modelling techniques
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in programming exposure in SQL, Python for data manipulation and business analytics
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
  • Strategic thinking and ability to see the big picture in complex financial landscapes
