Core Technology Components

The Global Markets Technology team in India is an integral part of the global team spread across all regions. We work through a combination of full ownership and team extension models to deliver these technology solutions to the Global Markets business globally

 

 

Business Overview:

This role is for Trade Processing team which develops trade capture platform for multiple asset classes covering Rates / Credit / EM and FX businesses. These involve highly complex workflows that are internal to Nomura and also integrate with workflows of industry wide confirmation platforms such as MarkitWire ICE Link and electronic platforms such as Bloomberg / Trade Web etc.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 
 

 

This is a senior Individual Contributor position. The selected person would be part of Trade Processing team based out of Indias. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop and maintain large, complex electronic trade processing applications
  • Understand the existing  business functions and participate in defining new solutions that meet their business objectives
  • Understand the overall ecosystem and develop appropriate integration solutions
  • Deliver high quality code within the committed deadlines
  • Adhere to the best coding practices that reduce technical debt
  • Expected to work with development and support team members across different regions
  • Partner with analysts across the globe to understand the requirements and to define solutions
  • Support resolution of production and user issues, application testing and maintenance releases
  • Partner with external stakeholders  for testing and implementation the deliverables
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output
