Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President level Business Analyst with extensive leadership experience in global settlement systems, specifically with deep expertise in the Gloss platform. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in settlement systems, with substantial exposure to Gloss, showcasing a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving transformational changes across global operations.
Key Responsibility:
Executive Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with Managing Directors and C-suite executives to shape settlement strategy
- Lead high-impact initiatives affecting global settlement operations
- Drive strategic decision-making processes across multiple business lines
- Influence key stakeholders across regions and business units
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the ultimate authority on Gloss platform capabilities and strategic direction
- Architect enterprise-level settlement solutions
- Guide global teams on complex settlement workflows and system integrations
- Lead technical strategy discussions with senior technology stakeholders
Business Transformation:
- Spearhead major transformation initiatives in settlement operations
- Drive efficiency improvements through system optimization
- Lead change management across global teams
- Identify and implement strategic process improvements
Program Governance:
- Oversee multiple concurrent strategic projects
- Manage substantial program budgets and conflicting priorities
- Direct cross-functional teams across regions
- Ensure alignment with global business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of extensive experience in capital markets with focus on settlement systems
- Substantial hands-on experience with Gloss platform (minimum 7+ years)
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives
- Master's degree preferred (MBA, Finance, or related field)
- Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships
- Executive presence and superior communication skills
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Gloss system architecture and functionality
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- Experience with SWIFT messaging and settlement instructions
- Understanding of T+1/T+2 settlement cycles
- Familiarity with testing tools (JIRA, etc.)
Additional Expertise:
- Experience in corporate actions processing
- Knowledge of global market regulations and compliance requirements
- Understanding of clearing house operations
- Exposure to other settlement platforms (Calypso, Murex, or Broadridge)
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with complex system migrations to SaaS models.
