Role & Responsibilities:

This is an Individual Contributor position. The successful candidate would be a part of Wholesale Data and Operations Technology focusing on Data Distribution platform. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Build large data system that can scale large volume of data
  • Understand the business functions and participate in defining solutions
  • Understand the overall ecosystem and develop appropriate integration solutions
  • Deliver high quality code within the committed deadlines
  • Adhere to the best coding practices that reduce technical debt
  • Expected to work with development and support team members across different regions
  • Partner with team members across the globe to understand the requirements and to define solutions
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output

Skill Set:

  • Strong experience in developing highly scalable and fault tolerant distributed services using Java
  • Utilize expert level knowledge of multithreading techniques to optimize systems performance
  • Strong experience in architecting distributed caching solutions to improve data retrieval and system efficiency
  • Experience in building application using DevOps principles
  • Experienced with refactoring and reengineering existing platforms with advancement in technologies. Identify areas for improvement and innovation within the development process
