Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The IGA/IAC development function is responsible to support the in-house IAC (Identity & Access Control) IGA platform in the firm.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the in-house IGA platform ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Ensure seamless integration of the IGA platform with enterprise systems, SaaS applications, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define IAM strategy, roadmaps, and standards aligned with business goals.
- Oversee and enforce the implementation of access management controls, workflows, and certifications.
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for IAM projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Coordinate support and issue resolution for IAM systems across development, test, and production environments.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve access request, provisioning, de-provisioning, and recertification processes.
- Evaluate, implement, and integrate industry-leading IAM solutions such as Saviynt and SailPoint where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
- Maintain and improve platform reliability, security, and performance across Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in developing and supporting IAM/IGA platforms using:

- Core Java, Spring, Struts, TomEE
- Oracle DB, SQL development and optimization
- Unix/Linux shell scripting and system administration
- Windows Server management
- Solid understanding of IAM principles, RBAC, ABAC, provisioning workflows, and directory services (LDAP, AD).
- Experience in working with SaaS-based IGA platforms like Saviynt and SailPoint.
- Demonstrated expertise in SDLC principles and agile project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex security and identity challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong working experience in agile methodologies.
- Experience in working with Tools like ServiceNow, CMDB, ZScaler, GitLab, Ansible, Grafana, Spring boot etc
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, or SailPoint/Saviynt certifications would be preferable.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services industry would be preferable.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools would be an advantage
