Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

  • Develop enterprise-wide ServiceNow catalogue strategy aligned with Nomura's global IAM objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships across business divisions
  • Establish governance frameworks and standards for catalogue design and implementation
  • Drive organizational change management for catalogue adoption across global markets
  • Provide executive oversight for ServiceNow catalogue operations and performance
  • Provide regular governance updates to senior management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Technical Architecture & Implementation:

 

  • Design and oversee ServiceNow service catalogues specifically for IAM/IGA processes
  • Lead integration strategy between ServiceNow and Saviynt IGA platform
  • Create and optimize catalogue items, forms, and workflows with complex approval hierarchies
  • Implement advanced ServiceNow scripting solutions using JavaScript for enhanced functionality
  • Configure ServiceNow Service Catalogue framework and ensure scalable architecture
  • Set up initial technical integration between ServiceNow and Saviynt, ensuring required tables are in sync

 

Business Partnership & Process Management:

 

  • Collaborate with IAM team, business stakeholders, and end users to gather enterprise requirements
  • Partner with IT, Security, HR, Legal, and business units to align catalogue processes with business operations
  • Translate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and board committees
  • Lead application onboarding processes through ServiceNow catalogue integration
  • Facilitate access certification workflows and unauthorized access remediation processes

 

Risk Management & Compliance:

 

  • Ensure catalogue solutions meet regulatory requirements across all operating jurisdictions
  • Implement comprehensive security controls and audit trails within catalogue processes
  • Lead compliance initiatives with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOX, etc.)
  • Oversee testing frameworks including integration testing with Saviynt platform
  • Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for identity management workflows

 

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement:

 

  • Monitor catalogue performance metrics and user satisfaction across global user base
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical catalogue-related issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize catalogue performance and user experience
  • Establish benchmarking practices and implement cost optimization strategies
  • Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation for catalogue services

 

Team Development:

  • Mentoring and training of resources
  • Develop team capabilities and technical expertise across ServiceNow and IAM domains

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

Leadership & Strategic Experience:

 

  • 15+ years of total experience with 3-5+ years in ServiceNow administration and development
  • 3+ years in senior leadership roles managing enterprise technology initiatives
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing global stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in vendor management and strategic technology partnerships
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and digital transformation

 

Technical Expertise:

 

  • Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow Platform Administration and Service Catalogue
  • Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), HTML, and web services/REST APIs
  • Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and enterprise architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration platform
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of Saviynt platform
  • Strong knowledge of workflow design, integration patterns, and UI/UX principles
  • Flexibility in adapting to different languages as forms may require Japanese inputs
