Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage key IAM Control processes such as Application Onboarding, Access Recertification, Reconciliation and identity governance
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the bank's security and business objectives.
- Drive innovation in IAM processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Oversee the implementation and management of IAM solutions, including IGA Platforms like Saviynt and others.
- Direct the integration of IAM controls into relevant applications and systems.
- Ensure that IAM controls effectively mitigate identified risks and align with the company's risk appetite.
- Ensure IAM practices comply with regulatory requirements and conduct regular risk assessments.
- Establish and maintain IAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team.
- Report to senior leadership on IAM performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Technology, Information Security, HR, Compliance, Operations Risk and Business Units to align IAM strategies with overall business goals.
- Stay informed about emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of IAM-related procedures and guidelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and security awareness within the IAM team and across the organisation.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency with IAM and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools, particularly Saviynt.
- Experience in aligning IAM practices with broader IT governance along with ability to translate complex IAM concepts into understandable policies and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex security and identity challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, or SailPoint/Saviynt certifications would be preferable.
- Experience in Identity and Access management services within banking or financial Services industry would be preferable.
