Job Title:  Lead Developer

Role Overview

Working within Wholesale Data Operations and Technology, the Core Settlements team manages and supports applications in the settlements space.

Role Accountabilities

(1) Requirement gathering, technical analysis, testing and releasing related to the core settlement platform and other applications within the settlements technology area.

(2) Direct responsibilities will include technical / functional analysis, documenting, testing, user co-ordination for UAT testing, sign-off and releasing changes.

(3) Ability to interact with users – product managers, developers, testers, and support staff

(4) Good organizational skills, strong problem solving skills, a good understanding of systems processing, and attention to detail

(5) Follow Firm Standards as may relate to documentation and code management.

(6) Work with global and local stakeholders / management and provide timely status reports and keep them abreast of progress / issues.

(7) Proven ability to work on own as well as within a team.

(8) Good communication skills

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Candidate with 5-10 years of relevant IT experience in GLOSS, MS SQL server database (T-SQL), Linux / Unix scripting and Dev Ops process knowledge.

Skills & Experience Required

(1) Experienced in GLOSS and its modules, MS SQL Server (T-SQL), Linux/Unix shell scripting and debugging.

(2) Experience in Linux / Unix Shell scripting and debugging. Knowledge of Regex tools and/or Perl and Python scripting would be beneficial.

(3) Proven experience with writing complex T-SQL queries, performance tuning, transaction handling and locking mechanisms and RDBMS design concepts.

(4) Experience of Dev Ops processes and tools (Git, Maven, Propstore, Jira, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, Ansible etc) would be beneficial.

(5) Should have proven skills of following SDLC and working on multiple deliverables at the same time

(6) Knowledge about performance tuning tools and memory management would be beneficial.

(7) Requirement gathering, technical / functional impact analysis, documenting, testing, user co-ordination for UAT testing, sign-off and releasing changes.

(8) Excellent communication (verbal, written)

(9) Previous experience in investment banking domain would be beneficial.
