Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

This role is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting the governance platform allowing a robust risk assessment for any new initiatives or products, proposed to be built/bought in Nomura. The role will require a continued stakeholder management as well as support to the governance meeting to arrive at decisions.

  • Participate in the build of ServiceNow workflows
  • Implement and support the technical workflows
  • Engage with stakeholders to improve on processes so that it is efficient and faster
  • Be the point of contact for the new platform and its corresponding processes
  • Analyse data and publish the metrics to wider community
  • Build Management metrics

Skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience in governance and related stakeholder management
  • Experience in building/Supporting ServiceNow workflows 
  • Experience in building/supporting various metrics/Dashboards on ServiceNow platform
  • Demonstrated skills in working across multi-functional teams to bring increased business value through seeing the bigger picture, collaboration and alignment of diverse needs   
  • A strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audience, as well as influence and negotiate with stakeholders
