Business Overview:
Asset servicing is a "core" ongoing service provided by Nomura to its clients. This service includes
Collection and payout of dividends and coupon interest, processing corporate actions and applying for tax relief from foreign governments on behalf of customers.

Experience : 7-8 years relevant experience
Qualification : Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA-Finance.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Hands on involvement in the day to day delivery
- Escalation point for any complex functional issues in the process
- Play a lead role in any “change the bank” projects involving the functional area owned by the team
- To ensure that all process KPI’s, KRI targets are met.
- Managing more than one team/process lines
- Establish effective working relationships with peer group, and internal clients.
- Primary/secondary escalation point for all process issues for the markets/processes in scope
- Continually look for improvements to processes and controls within functional area.
- Managing all internal and external Audits and risk reviews
- Ensure that all process documentation is complete and reviewed und updated regularly.
- Review and control of all the daily/monthly/weekly process MIS and reports.
- To ensure that there is adequate cross training within the team, and sufficient backups are available for each process.
- Employee engagement and career planning, people development, and performance management.
- Sound knowledge on all global market corporate action scenario
- Managers are assigned responsibility within the following scope of work:
- Confirming / validating corporate action related events.
- Computing and processing entitlements & accruals.
- Processing redemptions.
- Payables & Receivables
- Tax Reclaims
- Conversions
Knowledge & Skills:
- Required
- Subject matter expertise on multiple markets
- Process and people management skills
- Proven track record of having successfully managed different processes/ multiple teams
- Time management and prioritisation skills.
- Leadership skills, People and conflict management, Mentor to the team.
- Ability to handle pressure, high volume and risk.
- Understanding of the whole trade life cycle
- Prior experience in Corporate Actions
- Desired
- Quality/Process improvement/Change management experience.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/Post Graduate with minimum 7-8 yrs experience in Investment Banking operations, in a similar Corporate Action process
- Proven track record of having team management experience

- Shift timings:
- 01.00 pm to 10.00 pm (European Hours) - The incumbent is required to be flexible in order to accommodate occasional requirements.
- 07.00 am to 4.00 pm (Asian Hours) - The incumbent is required to be flexible in order to accommodate occasional requirements.
