Divisional Overview:

 

The Operations division provides the support and control infrastructure that enables the Firm to develop and deliver financial products throughout the world. Working with the Sales, Trading and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions in a manner which maximizes profitability and minimizes risk. Our division is responsible for the management and execution of millions of securities transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management, reference data management and various other client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients' changing needs.

 

 

Business Overview:

 

The Business Intelligence and Services groups supports multiple divisions in the firm catering to their reporting and dashboard requirements. The team has a supports front office with Mi for the supervision framework and helps develop and maintain a UI as the centrally portal for the information required for the framework. The team also supports manual, automated reporting and issue management for data feeds and reports.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 
 
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level dashboards and reports for wholesale banking operations using SAP Business Objects and Power BI.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of operational and management information (MI) across products, channels, and functions.
  • Translate business requirements into BI solutions and analytical insights that drive performance improvements.
  • Work with global stakeholders to communicate issues and achievements, understand their pain areas, act as a trusted partner and consultant
  • Define and maintain data governance standards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs aligned with business strategy.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to automate data collection and streamline report generation processes.
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for operational and reporting enhancements—from requirements gathering to delivery and post-implementation review.
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and reporting specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance goals, review outcomes, and build team capabilities in BI tools, data analytics, and visualization.
  • Encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing across teams to enhance analytical maturity within the function.
  • Act as the key liaison between Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Business teams for reporting and process initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand data needs, translate insights into strategic recommendations, and support business planning.
  • Manage expectations through transparent communication, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks, data confidentiality, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain reporting quality standards and perform regular data validation and reconciliation checks.
