Overview:
 

This position would act as a Business Analyst for HR functions. Role will require the incumbent to obtain a good understanding of the HR applications used in Nomura. They would act as an advisor to the business to ensure optimum utilization of the systems as well as suggest new enhancements / improvements for better user experience.

 

This position would act as 1st line of support for HR systems and a bridge between business and HRIT / Support Partner. The candidate would be required to manage System configuration / maintenance and Security related activities.

Role & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • System Expert - Understand the business processes and systems and suggest improvement by leveraging system functionalities.
  • Provide solution to system related issues/queries raised by end users/other teams using ServiceNow application or via email.
  • Manage effective channel of communication with all stakeholders. Be the SPOC to liaise with HRIT/ Vendor for any issue/escalation related to system and support.
  • Relationship Management –Work closely with the regional and global HRIS teams on various project related activities.
  • Maintain setup related information’s in various HR applications.
  • Provide general support to all stakeholders on HR applications.
  • Work closely with operations/functional team and provide training and updates in regards to system changes.
  • Testing of any changes to HR application.
  • Create and Maintain documentations.

Key Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in working with HR applications with a minimum of 2-3 years on SuccessFactors. Experience with Talent modules (PMGM, Succession, CDP etc.) would be required.
  • Ability to understand and provide solutions to business requirements. Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with new systems / technologies and drive initiatives.
  • Strong functional bent of mind. Good understanding of HR processes.
  • Effective communication and inter-personal skills
  • Strong planning, organizing & reviewing skills
