Job Role & Responsibilities:

The selected person would be a part of IWM IT BU focusing on focusing on building a Data platform for the IWM business. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
- Build a Data Platform that acts as a store for both Structured and Unstructured data in IWM
- Understand the scope of the Data platform and build an efficient way to ingest data that avoids redundancy.
- Integrate with a Data Virtualization layer such as Denodo or Dremio to provide client access to Data Catalogue, Ability to create views/ join relevant data, expose the data to Power BI dashboard.
- Write APIs to provide consumers / Applications access to data on demand.
- Build stream set to support Real time data needs.
- Build UI to track the status of data load, SLA breaches, availability of data for critical processes, source of data etc.
- Adhere to the best coding practices that reduce technical debt.
- Support resolution of production and user issues, application testing and maintenance releases.
- Partner with stakeholders for testing and implementation of the deliverables.
- Provide regular updates regarding status or progress made to managers and stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required, to effectively deliver output.

Job Requirements/Experience:

- University bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or banking.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in Java, Spring Boot
- Knowledge of React will be a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with one of the Data Technologies – MS SQL, Snowflake, MinIO, etc.
- Good understanding of Data Governance Principles.
- Has implementation experience in medium to large scale projects.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work and organize with sense of urgency under multiple deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize under stress.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to learn and able to adapt to different technologies.
- Self-motivated, responsible and reliable team player.
- Communicates well & across all levels.
