Job Title:  Lead Quality Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Analyst to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software products across multiple applications and platforms.

• Design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks for scalable testing solutions
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and test suites for multiple applications
• Execute various testing types including functional, regression, integration, API, and database testing
• Develop and maintain test plans outlining scope, approach, resources, and schedule of testing activities
• Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance on technical and professional development
• Analyse business requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test scripts
• Monitor automation test execution, analyse results, and report defects with appropriate severity levels

Required Qualifications:

• Experience 8-12 years of overall QA experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java/Python and Selenium WebDriver
• 5+ years of experience writing automated test scripts using frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium with Java/Python, and BDD approaches
• Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Position Specifications:

Mandatory Skill Set :

• Excellent coding skills in Python, Java + Selenium
• AWS testing experience and cloud-based application testing
• API testing expertise using tools like Postman, REST Assured
• Advanced Selenium WebDriver expertise for web application testing
• Strong SQL skills for database testing and validation
• Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr)
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab)
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices

Desired Skill Set :

• DevOps knowledge including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), configuration management (Ansible), and artifact management (Nexus)
• Data validation and ETL testing experience
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Experience in Compliance platform or equivalent Investment Banking domain is preferred
