Overview:

Global Markets Technology builds and maintains software solutions used by Global Markets Front and Middle office. Global Markets business is spread across EMEA, US, Japan, AEJ, emerging Markets like India, Brazil, China. It deals in wide range of products across Fixed Income and Equities both cash and derivatives. It covers products like Stocks, converts, equity derivatives, Rates (Government Bonds, Bond Options, Interest rates swaps etc.), Credit (Corporate Bonds, CDS, CDS Indices etc.), FX (spot, Forwards, Futures etc.), Securitized Products, Structured Products. It also offers prime services.

(GMIT) in India is integral part of GMIT, which is spread across US, UK, Tokyo, Singapore, HK, India and China. It works in partnership with other regions to deliver technology solutions (software) to GM business across region prioritized in Global Book of Work. This technology Infrastructure (software applications) serves key business functions such as Trade Capture and Processing, Pricing, STP, Sales Functions, Middle Office functions, Risk Analytics and reporting, Research, Ecommerce, Client and Exchange connectivity, Order and execution management, CRM and MIS reporting platforms.

Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:

• Create Automation scripts using QTP.
• Partner with Offshore and Onsite Stakeholders to identify testing approach
• Creation of test plans and test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for Nomura Now.
• Provide Realistic  time estimates for test planning and execution
• Execution of test plans in accordance with the project schedule
• Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements.
• Track issues and work with project managers and development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in JIRA review meetings during test cycles.
• Participate in project health checks.
• Use  QA standard test document templates and methodology

Key Skills:

• 4-6 years overall experience in Capital market domain with two years plus in Automation testing (Engineer).
• Functional Knowledge on Derivative Trading and Risk Management Applications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Script development experience of Test Automation tools, preferably QTP.
• Hands-on experience of using Test Management tool, preferably Quality Center
