Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
We are looking for a technologist specializing in Automation and AI/ML to join our Identity and Access Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing AI Framework and solutions, with a strong focus on building new automated services to drive efficiencies across IAM Functions. This role demands a subject matter expert (SME) in AI and automation with capability to drive efforts to increase efficiency, deliver modernization and accelerate the delivery and uplift end-user experience.
2) Key Responsibilities:
AI Integration & Engineering
- Implement AI-driven solutions for identity analytics, workflow designs and risk intelligence
- Build machine learning models for access pattern analysis, policy violation detection and
- Develop intelligent orchestration and workflows using LangGraph, Agentic AI, MCP Servers and virtual assistants for IAM Functions
- Create AI-powered reporting and dashboard solutions for stakeholders
Automation Development
- Design, develop, and implement automated IAM processes and workflows
- Build intelligent automation solutions that reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency
- Create self-service capabilities that empower users while maintaining security standards
- Develop automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management systems
Collaboration and Partnership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
- Establish best practices for AI/ML implementation within IAM frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
- Drive adoption of modern development practices including DevOps and CI/CD
Customer-Focused Innovation
- Work directly with internal customers to understand pain points and requirements
- Translate business needs into technical solutions that improve user experience
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure automation success and customer satisfaction
- Continuously iterate on solutions based on user feedback and performance data
3) Requirements:
- 7 -12 years of proven experience in design and implementation of Enterprise grade AI and Automation Frameworks and solutions
- 5 + year working on Programming/Scripting experience mandatory using Python, PowerShell, Perl, Shell/bash scripting for IAM Automation and Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building AI Workflow and RAG Systems using LangGraph, LLM and Vector Stores
- APIs & Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integration and microservices architecture
- Handson experience with Saviynt MCP and Enterprise Identity Cloud for smart provisioning and automated attestation is big plus
- Exposure to major IAM domains is desired (MFA, PAM, IGA)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
