Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development / DevOps / GitOps
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Strong on-premises infrastructure experience
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, shell scripting, PowerShell, Java
• Must have knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
• Self-motivated with strong initiative to resolve issues

Preferred Skills

• Professional in one of the operating system (Linux/Windows)

• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform)
• Middleware/BI platform experience (Solace, IBM MQ, PowerBI)
• Monitoring and observability tools
• Microservices architecture experience / Containerization technologies (Docker)
• Security best practices and compliance sense
• Experience working in scalable Software Development Life Cycle environments
• Cloud certifications
