Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. • Design, Prototype, test and deliver Linux  OS platform for estate wide deployment and use
• Engineer & Support the enterprise Linux OS build provisioning system integrated with & available via the Private Cloud platform
• Using Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform, scheduled as well as on-demand deployments, patching & system state maintenance
• Develop, support & refine the Unix and Cloud Engineering Python codebase.  
• Engineer and develop solutions which integrate and leverage core services products.
• Collaborate with global leads & peers on technical issues, defining standards and processes.
• Provide Operational handover with detailed documentation following the prescribed Production deployment process. Responsible for clear Production deployment as well as postproduction deployment fixes and enhancements
• Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve efficiency and optimize delivery.
• Automation is a key requirement for this role and expectation is that the selected candidate will work on elements of SDLC toolchain as applicable including automated testing (load, functional, regression) & validation of Unix builds. The candidate will be working on delivering OS via automated orchestration workflow.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) utilizing Terraform to define and provision infrastructure in consistent and repeatable manner.
• Is responsible for owning the Engineering and production delivery of managing related components such as Satellite, Redhat Cluster, Ansible/Ansible Automation Platform etc.
