Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Skills, experience, qualif ications and knowledge required
• Proven ability to quickly integrate into an established project team as a contractor and contribute
ef fectively f rom day one.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• User story writing and requirement documentation experience.
• The ability to understand a project vision and drive process modernisation and redefinition in line with
that vision.
• The ability to analyse, decompose and clearly articulate an IT process, business process or new
process requirement.
• The ability to both clearly captures existing process but also suggest process improvements.
• Ability to network across the organisation at all levels and reach out to mine information and process
f rom other areas.
• Ability to delve into data to analyse it and interpret it.
• Critical thinking
• First class written and oral communication skills.
Desirable but non-essential attributes:
• Understanding of Identity and Access Governance good to have but not essential.
• Experience working with Saviynt is also good to have but not essential.
• A solid understanding of Agile approaches to requirements capture and documentation.
• Ability to construct basic SQL queries and interpret results.
