Business Overview

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Managed Funds Specialist to join our IPAS Team/CIO Office in Private Banking. As a member of the team, you will be involved in all levels of business including conducting research, developing valuation frameworks across funds from different asset classes, hedge funds, private equity and credit, work on cross-asset allocation models with CIO Office and providing a data driven decision making alongside our Quant team to support our investment strategies.

 

  • Ideal Exposure to multiple asset classes from equities, fixed income, alternatives including HFs, Private credit, equity across the international markets – US, JP, EU, HK, CN etc.
  • Detailed and data oriented person. Work on macro commentary, strategies and create systems, frameworks and analytics to analyse portfolios and various market scenarios.
  • Track events and their impacts on positioning and asset class choices.
  • To learn hands on with industry veterans on how to navigate markets and develop portfolio solutions
  • To work in an environment that is entrepreneurial and that values new ideas, innovation and most of all ownership of problems and solutions

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 

•   Take ownership of funds commentaries, monthly chart packs and quarterly reports. Have a key focus on expanding alternatives allocation in the IWM AuM. Work with RMs, IAs, CIO Office in ensuring messaging across all RMs and IAs.

•   Create data driven decision making frameworks for valuations and cross-asset allocation.

•   Focus on non-traditional asset classes like hedge funds and private markets in order to collaborate with the Managed Investments team.

•   Analyse and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions. Work with the Quants team for creating different models.

•   Conduct research on various markets, asset classes, and investment products to inform investment strategy

•    Collaborate with other team members to identify and prioritize investment opportunities and risks

•    Provide timely and accurate analysis and insights to senior team members and investment committees.

•    Continuously monitor and assess the performance of our investment strategies and models
