Business Unit Overview: The Index Admin team based in Powai is continuously and actively engaged in supporting Nomura's QIS businesses. The team supports a varied range of bespoke Quantitative Investment products offered by Nomura to its clients. The team plays a pivotal role between the Front office and the counterparties and acts as an internal liaison with other teams in Nomura ranging from Information Technology, Core Operations, Client Service Representatives, Transition Management Group, Data Management etc.

 

Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities: - Data validation and analysis for market data used for index computations - Bespoke reports for end clients - Ownership and accountability of any activities performed by the individual. Liaise with Trading desk, regional counterparts and counterparties for speedy resolution of breaks identified - Continuously improve the process. Analytical mindset and thrive to improve upon existing way of doing the process

 

Domain Skills Mandatory Desired • Finance Background • Knowledge of Index workings • Good Knowledge of OTC derivatives • Basic knowledge of Alteryx • Excel proficiency • Knowledge of coding in Python
