RSG (Risk Solutions Group) is a fast growing team located in Nomura’s Investment Banking Division (IBD). The team delivers strategic risk management solutions to both Corporates and Financial Sponsors in the Asia ex-Japan region.

Role & Responsibilities:

Role description:

 

  • Support the RSG team with all sort of derivatives pricing, presentations and analysis
  • Generate tailor-made solutions for sales-client interaction and engagement
  • Working closely with regional trading, structuring and origination teams to deliver solutions
  • Buildup of a set of generic teach-in presentations to be used on client seminars and internal marketing activities
  • Preparation of term sheets and other transaction related documents

 

Qualification, Experience & Skills

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

 

A candidate with below skills:

  • Minimally a Bachelor’s degree with quantitative specialisation (e.g. Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics etc.) from an accredited university.  Master’s degree would be ideal
  • Be familiar with the pricing of FX and Rates derivatives transactions
  • Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong product knowledge of financial derivatives products especially in FX and Rates
  • A passion for financial markets, ideally demonstrated through past internships in the financial industry and curriculum
  • Good marketing and presentation skills
