Division Overview:
We are currently looking to recruit for our Global Markets Division for our Multi-Strategy Sales Team which is part of Global Markets Equity Division and covers a wide range of Nomura’s Equity-Linked business (Convertible Bonds, Equity Derivatives and Delta-One) across all regions with main focus on buy-side clients including Hedge Funds and Long only Funds. The team works Closely with Structuring and Trading in the regions on highlighting/ publishing trade ideas, pricing, back testing, index/basket creation and building analytical tools required for strategy work. The role is of research sales and involves idea generation and working on technical as well as fundamental analysis and contribute actively towards business PnL.
Business Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Products Hedge Fund Content Sales who will work closely
with Hedge Fund Sales Desk which comes under Global Markets Equity Products Division and covers
a wide range of equity related products including but not limited to Derivatives, Convertible Bonds and
Delta-One. The member of the team, will be responsible for producing Equity focussed thematic and
quantitative content, idea generation, innovative product designs and trading ideas

Experience 3-5 years’ experience in Equity Thematic or Derivatives Research Sales (Global
Markets)
Qualification Tier 1 or Tier 2 (Graduate / Post Graduate)
Role & Responsibilities:
• Work on Equity thematic content, strategies and create systems, frameworks and analytics to
propose actionable ideas to Hedge Fund clients.
• Track macro events and their impacts on positioning and Trading Strategy choices. To work in
an environment that is entrepreneurial and that values new ideas and innovation
• Trade idea generation and pitching as well as recycling of trading axes to help generate tickets.
• Take ownership of Daily Macro commentaries, Weekly chart packs and Monthly Outlook
reports
• Create data driven decision making frameworks. Analyse and interpret complex data sets to
identify trends and patterns that can inform investment decisions.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize investment opportunities and risks as
well as Provide timely and accurate analysis and insights to team members.
• Continuously monitor and assess the performance of our trade ideas. Keep up-to-date with the
latest developments in investment research
