Divisional Overview:

 

Powai Finance is an integral part of the CFO division and plays a key role in various Finance functions ranging from Treasury, Global Middle Office, Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting, Global Infrastructure, Cost Analytics and MI. Located strategically to cater to multiple time zones, Powai Finance ensures internal and regulatory deliverables across all regions are supported

 

 

Business Overview:

Business Performance Reporting is part of the Powai Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE). It is designed to provide reporting across all financial metrics for Business and Corporate Management.  It is leveraging the advances in data quality and SME capability across the CoE to improve the breadth and depth of Finance MIS.  The BPR team is organized across 3 key areas:

  • Executive and Business Reporting: This group is responsible for Wholesale MI, critical for business reviews and decision making, across Senior Management. This group also working towards creating SME capability to support the evolution of ‘On Demand MI’.

 

  • Cost Reporting and Corporate Advisory: This group provides transparency to the cost drivers of the Wholesale Business and Corporate Divisions.  This encompasses financial management support through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, allocation and analysis activities. The team is leveraging digital tools to redesign and optimize processes to facilitate strategic cost management initiatives.

 

  • Core Process and Control: This group is responsible for the control and consistency of all standard MIS reports distributed to Nomura Senior Management and Wholesale Business Leads.  This group is working on the transformation of report production through the application of automated scheduled solutions.

The candidate must have a strong background in visual data delivery; interactive design and DAX with a passion for re imagine/ design. Business Domain

  • Support Global Sales team in regular BAU and can manage their queries.
  • Working with Coalition Client Wallet data, doing analytics using the data
  • Publishing Management reports for Global Sales Business heads, CEO’s and CAO’s with analysis of Daily, MTD, & YTD Client & Sales revenue numbers.
  • Delivering on the adhoc requests within the stringent timeliness and maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Constantly communicating with Sales persons and Sales Business Managers to assist them in accounting & tracking the amount of Sales credits received and paid on daily basis
  • Identifying and reporting KPI’s which can be presented in management presentation
  • Doing UAT -Testing and giving sign off on the new developments requested.
