Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class
capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk
management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and
are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the
platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Divisional Overview (Mandatory):
Powai Finance is an integral part of the CFO division and plays a key role in various Finance functions
ranging from Treasury, Global Middle Office, Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting, Global
Infrastructure, Cost Analytics and MI. Located strategically to cater to multiple time zones, Powai
Finance ensures internal and regulatory deliverables across all regions are supported
Business Unit Overview (If Applicable):
MI team in Mumbai is an extension of the Global MI team providing Analytical and Quantitative
Support to the onshore teams. Team caters to MIS requirements of senior management across
Nomura Global Markets (Global Markets division) and regions (Japan, AeJ, EMEA and US). Team
is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting of Revenues, Expenses and other financial
resources.
Within MI, Global Markets Reporting and Analysis team caters to MIS requirements of senior
management of Nomura’s Global Markets division. The team is comprised of dedicated regional
groups based in Powai supporting Global stakeholders in Europe, Asia-Ex, Japan and US.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Business Advisory team, based in Powai, partnering with the global GM team
•
The individual will work closely with the EMEA and US regional stakeholder and Global GM CAO team. They will support the global requirements for GM business
•
Publishing Management reports for Global GM Business heads, CEO’s and CAO’s with analysis of Daily, MTD & YTD P&L.
•
Delivering on the adhoc requests within the stringent timeliness and maintaining high level of accuracy.
•
Constantly communicating with GM CAO team to assist them in accounting & tracking GM revenue and product performance.
•
Analyze the trend of revenue numbers and make reports to enable senior management in preparation of Budgets.
•
Doing UAT -Testing and giving sign off on the new developments requested in various systems and automations.
•
Strong Excel skills (with prior experience using Advance Excel formulas) and PowerPoint skills are critical.
•
Strong Analytical and Situational problem solving skills.
•
Ability to present and explain workings in a clear and concise manner to a diverse audience
•
Automation of processes using PowerBI / VBA macros is an added advantage
•
Ability to prioritize high volumes of deliverables across multiple disciplines working under pressure.
•
Leading and motivate a team of professionals, assign tasks and responsibilities based on team members' strengths and skills.
•
Clearly communicate expectations, deadlines, and organizational changes to the team and manage expectations from stakeholders.

Serve as a liaison between team members, senior management and onshore stakeholders.
