Division Overview:

 

Nomura IB division often specializes in various industries, including healthcare, technology, finance and more. This specialization allows to offer tailored financials solutions to their clients. Nomura IBD plays a key role in facilitating deals and transactions. This includes providing advice on structuring deals, valuations and executing mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions

 

The IBD team in Powai is a key Business Unit within the IB division. They work closely with the Product Heads and the IB CAO  to drive their strategy, execute the business plans.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 

  • We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Business Advisory team, based in Powai , partnering with the global IB team
  • The individual will work closely with the EMEA regional stakeholder and Global IB CAO team. They will support the global requirements for IB business
  • Publishing Management reports for Global IB Business heads, CEO’s and CAO’s with analysis of Daily, MTD & YTD P&L.
  • Delivering on the adhoc requests within the stringent timeliness and maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Constantly communicating with IB CAO team to assist them in accounting & tracking IB revenue and pipelines details
  • Analyze the trend of revenue numbers and make reports to enable senior management in preparation of Budgets.
  • Doing UAT -Testing and giving sign off on the new developments requested in Business objects
  • Strong SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 web intelligence skills, Expertise in developing and designing Webi Rich Client reports and managing ad hocs, managing yearly end rollover.
  • Strong Excel skills (with prior experience using Advance Excel formulas) and PowerPoint skills are critical.
  • Strong Analytical and Situational Problem solving skills
  • Ability to present and explain workings in a clear and concise manner to a diverse audience
  • Automation of processes using PowerBI / VBA macros is an added advantage
  • Ability to prioritize high volumes of deliverables across multiple disciplines working under pressure
