Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prime Middle Office team is a client service centric process. Hence it requires lots of interaction with clients, Sales Persons, Desk Assistants and other various team involved in downstream Processing.
  • Effectively manage all risks and exposures associated with the various trading activities across the books and ensure all exceptions have been closed out in a timely manner.
  • Risk Management between Front End & Middle Office system
  • This position requires liaising with respective regional Trader’s, desk assistants, Sales Persons & other regional middle office teams.
  • The individual needs to work very closely with the desks and ensure all checks are completed with 100% accuracy, within the timelines mentioned in SLA.
  • Requires strong attention to details, should have very good understanding on Equity Derivatives
  • Monitoring & resolving inter-system trade exceptions
  • Client query management
  • Inter-system and inter entity reconciliations
  • Monitoring and tracking KRI/MIS, reporting.
  • Resolving issues raised by various teams

Requirements

  • Experience of working in Equity products required with SME knowledge on Swaps.
  • Front to back understanding of Synthetic Prime Brokerage function within Prime
  • Strong business knowledge of life cycle events mainly Corporate Actions
  • Strong time management skills required to meet the internal and external deadlines/cutoffs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
  • Knowledge of Global Markets and settlement practices

 

Key roles & responsibilities

  • To follow up all the trade operations instructed by Front Office to ensure smooth processing and settlement. This will require co-ordination of all information from client and Front-to-Back.
  • To perform day-to-day core trade support functions which includes trade validation, late trade booking, trade amendment and cancellation.
  • To handle any post-trade events such as corporate action adjustment, secondary event booking and notification 
  • To perform as an independent control team to strengthen all the control within Global Market Operations and to follow the escalation rule
  • Reconciling trades into the matching platform, and working with internal stakeholders and trading desk to reconcile mismatches.

 

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

  • Should be able to work independently and manage tight deadlines, should possess excellent communication skills and familiarity with financial abbreviations and basic functioning of Fixed Income market.
  • Should be Enthusiastic / High energy / should be able to suggest solutions.

 

Mandatory Skill Set :  

  • Required Subject matter expertise on multiple markets. Proven track record of having successfully managed different processes/ multiple teams
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory requirements Time management and prioritization skills. Accurate work in a pressurized environment. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
