Prime Middle Office forms part of Equity Middle Office. Prime manages equity products directly or indirectly pertaining to clients who are deemed Prime by Nomura. The Prime Middle Office covers swap business, stock loan borrowing & lending and prime brokerage business
Role & Responsibilities of the Position in
- Trade Capture/Support
- Life Cycle Management
- Exceptions Monitoring
- System/Risk reconciliation

Covering;
Monitoring & resolving inter-system trade exceptions
Client query management
Inter-system and inter entity reconciliations
Risk monitoring
Monitoring and tracking KRI/MIS
Resolving issues raised by various teams
Client account opening and maintenance
Cashflow processing
Reporting
REQUIRED SKILLS
- The Analyst/Sr Analyst will be responsible for the various trade and position reconciliations to ensure all positions in the Front office are in line with the Middle Office systems. This position is required to liaise mainly with other Middle offices, IT, legal, settlements, corporate action teams, risk and any other teams necessary.
- The individual needs to work very closely with all teams and ensure all reconciliations are completed within the required SLA and are accurate 100% and ensure there are no financial/reputational loss.
- Accurate work in a pressurized environment.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop in a varied role, as there will be plenty of opportunities to cross-train across the department.
- Good interpersonal skills are required as the role involves close liaison with traders globally and other departments within Nomura.

- Understanding of end to end trade life cycle of equity swaps.
