Divisional Overview:

The Corporate Finance team performs global and seamless finance operations including trading and product control, Group financial reporting and disclosure, management information and reporting for decision support, planning and development of financial strategy including funding policies and financial analysis, funding and cash management, tax planning and reporting, investor relations management, and much more.

 

Business Overview:

Finance COO main role is to add value to the Finance Division towards Planning & Budgeting, Governance & Control and People Development.

This function is also responsible for driving the CFO Strategic agenda.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.

- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise-wide learning programs and stakeholder engagement.

- Strong project management, communication, and influencing skills.

- Experience working with Learning Management Systems and digital learning platforms.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 
 

 

  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to assess learning needs and develop capability-building strategies.
  • Design, implement, and manage learning programs including leadership development, functional training, professional skills, and compliance learning.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs for new finance hires, ensuring smooth integration
  • Support the globalization of the onboarding program across regions
  • Support the implementation of PMGM objective-setting processes
  • Help coordinate performance award and recognition programs
  • Support Finance Global L&D programs and the Global Finance L&D Framework,
  • Maintain finance career framework documentation aligned to Nomura Leadership behaviors
  • Support quarterly HR data reporting
  • Assist in tracking open HC and offshore efficiency metrics
  • Contribute to Powai Finance HR data analysis and reporting
  • Curate and deploy innovative learning solutions using classroom, virtual, digital, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate tracking of learning activities and completion metrics.
  • Measure training effectiveness through feedback analysis, assessments, and business impact metrics.
  • Analyze learning data and prepare dashboards, reports, and insights for senior management.
  • Manage relationships with external training partners, facilitators, and content providers.
  • Contribute to taxonomy reviews and skill gap analysis to align with evolving business needs
  • Maintain HR data reporting by function, including headcount tracking and efficiency metrics
  • Support talent development initiatives, career development programs, and employee engagement through learning interventions.
