Divisional Overview:
The Corporate finance team performs global and seamless Finance operations including trading and product control, Group financial reporting and disclosure, management information and reporting for decision support, planning and development of financial strategy including funding policies and financial analysis, funding and cash management, tax planning and reporting, investor relations management, and much more.
Business Overview:
Finance Data and Digital Office (FDDO) was established in 2021 as a new global department in Finance division to centralise and manage Finance data, reporting and analytics. It was set up with the vision to inspire people across the firm through the power of data and reporting, creative minds and innovative technologies. The FDDO centralizes data and reporting across Finance and enriches with digital tools, optimized processes, enhanced capabilities and meaningful insights to drive value to the function and wider business. FDDO comprises of Data FDDO, Reporting FDDO and Quality Assurance and Control.
The Data FDDO is a shared capability performing data related activities to meet Finance needs for the Reporting FDDO, Global Functions and Regional Finance. The Data FDDO is the Finance Data Steward, centralising and standardising data reconciliations and adjustments, which are currently performed repetitively across all regions and functions. The aspiration is to create a central data analytics hub through usage of advanced data tools.
