Powai Finance is an integral part of the CFO division and plays a key role in various Finance functions ranging from Treasury, Global Middle Office, Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting, Global Infrastructure, Cost Analytics and MI. Located strategically to cater to multiple time zones, Powai Finance ensures internal and regulatory deliverables across all regions are supported

Powai Core CMA team is a sub function of Global CMA team involved in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for all Powai functions. Key focus areas are Budgeting and Monthly management reporting covering comprehensive value added analytics. Key stakeholders are Powai Sr. Mgmt., Powai divisional heads and CAO’s The team also supports Global & Regional stakeholders in EMEA, Tokyo and AEJ.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Monthly reporting, month end checks, variance /expense analysis
  • Budget consolidation and thorough review with end-to-end reconciliation
  • Deep dive into key expenses with detailed value-added analytics
  • Cost Saves advisory skills with meaningful analysis & innovative thinking, review accounting methodologies
  • Headcount Reporting with detailed tracking of new roles, efficiencies and headcount movement. Tight control & review of headcount numbers.
  • Monitor key KPI’s from time to time and highlight anomalies
  • Assist divisions with ad hocs and critical stakeholder requirements on a timely basis

 

CEO/CAO/Sr. Mgmt. support

  • Extensive support to Powai Sr. Mgmt. on Cost & Headcount. Create presentations with captivating slides, have a 360-degree view. Constantly try to innovate
  • Robust control over numbers, quick turnaround
  • Provide Powai Sr. Mgmt. with multiple advisory / analytics, help drive initiatives to manage their cost base
  • Strong insights on key cost drivers and provide cost models to deliver / track cost saves targets
  • Trend analytics, provide historic data with comprehensive analysis

 

Automation/Digitalisation

  • Leverage new age Digital Tools & Technologies for BAUs as well as new Projects
  • Quickly adapt to ongoing digitalisation in the process
  • Come up with innovative ideas to further be able to reduce man hour efforts
  • Be able to create process efficiencies/improvisations, have a creative mind set

 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Effective partnership and collaboration with Powai Sr. Management, Regional CMA teams, Regional stakeholders, Powai divisions, drive Optimization /Globalization via standardized approach
