Divisional Overview:

 

Wholesale Production Services India team maintains software solutions used by Wholesale Business spread across EMEA, US, Japan, AEJ, and emerging Markets like India, Brazil, and China. The team provides application, and systems support across a wide domain including and not limited to Finance, Risk, Equities, Futures & Options, Prime Services including financing, Derivatives, FX, Securitized Products, Operations, Core & Compliance, Infrastructure Tools and Technology Operations and User Helpdesk.

 

Business Overview:

 

We're seeking an exceptional leader at the Executive Director level who excels in stakeholder management and team leadership to head our Global Operations Production Support function. 

 

This senior operational position requires an individual who can build and maintain strong relationships at the executive level while leading mission-critical 24/7 operational coverage for the firm's Settlement, Controls, and Trade & Transaction services systems.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, a proven track record in managing critical incidents, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams across multiple regions. 

 

You'll be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence while ensuring seamless coordination between technology teams, business stakeholders, and operations executive leadership.

Role & Responsibilities:

This Executive Director position requires a leader who excels in building relationships, managing critical situations, and developing high-performing teams. The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our technology operations while working with senior stakeholders across the organization. Success in this position requires a balance of strong leadership skills, technical understanding, and the ability to maintain composure during critical situations.

This role reports to the Global Head of Wholesale Data & Operations Production Services and maintains direct lines of communication with senior business stakeholders and technology executives

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Operations heads, and global technology leaders
  • Lead communication during major incidents and crisis situations
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships across Operations, Technology, and Business units
  • Drive effective change management through clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Present regular updates to executive committees on operational performance and strategic

initiatives

Critical Incident Management & Leadership

  • Serve as the escalation point for enterprise-critical incidents
  • Lead the recovery activity during significant service disruptions
  • Establish and oversee incident management protocols across global operations
  • Drive post-incident reviews with executive stakeholders and ensure effective implementation of lessons learned
  • Maintain direct communication lines with senior management during critical situations

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and lead high-performing teams across multiple global locations
