Job Title: Business Analyst
Process & Role Overview:
Market Data Content is a global function that is responsible for operations (Demand Management and invoicing),Vendor Management , Business analysis and reporting, Inventory management and strategy for all Market Data expenses. This role sits within the Wholesale Data Services function, part of Technology. This role focuses on financial governance, handling end user requests and working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of charges generated through invoice payments. All invoices are reconciled through the Market Data inventory system before being sent for payment.
Role & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will receive an overview of the business context and specific training to assist in performing the below key tasks:
- Pro-active communication with Market Data vendors.
- Responding to internal queries regarding costs allocated to users and ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner to reduce impact on cost base.
- Invoice reconciliation in the inventory system and payment system.
- Investigating and owning invoice/costs queries through to resolution.
- Review and investigate invoice adjustments. Work with the various teams and/or vendors to address the queries
- Work with Global Operations team to ensure global standards and optimal service provision
Qualification, Experience & Skills
• Preferably a commerce graduate with hands on experience on Market data tools and applications like, MDM, RPM, DACS, Bloomberg, Refinitiv etc..
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in invoice related process
• An analytical mindset and ability to challenge the accepted status quo.
• You have control mindset and attention to detail is required.
• You should be results orientated Detail orientated and demonstrates strong analytical skills
• You are able to work as part of a team but also possess the ability to deliver results independently.
• You demonstrate superb communication and organizational skills
