Divisional Overview:

The Wholesale Production Services team partner with the Risk & Capital IT to deliver and maintain software solutions used by Risk Management division. The business is spread across EMEA, US, Japan, AEJ, and emerging Markets like India, Brazil, and China. It deals in wide range of products / models including VaR, Stresses, FRTB, Inventory, CRM models, Limits, Credit Exposures, Stress testing, Back testing etc.

Business Overview:

The India Risk Production Services team is an integral part of the global team, which is spread across US, UK, Tokyo, Singapore, HK, India and China. It works in partnership with various regions to deliver technology support to Risk business across regions prioritized in Global Book of Work. This team serves key business functions such as Market and Credit Risk systems.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role is within the Production Services team providing support  to Operations and other corporate divisions for a wide range of applications designed to facilitate the successful execution of various important corporate processes.

The ideal candidate will have a forward thinking, can-do attitude with the ability to proactively deal with issues and a drive for continual improvement.  Also, have a willingness to upskill and learn new technologies is a must.

L1 & L2 Production Support for allocated projects in Wholesale Production Services including (but not limited to) batch support, application support, user support, incident management, change management and automation initiatives as well as any initiatives that are introduced for improving Operational Stability, efficiency, maintainability and support capabilities

Mandatory Skill Set :

• Working knowledge of Operations and other corporate platforms within a Financial Institution
• Naturally take ownership of issues and projects that you are assigned.  Confident with adhering to procedure and show resilience when faced with demanding clients
• The ability to prioritise and be adaptable whilst working under pressure
• Have a problem-solving mind set and demonstrate ownership of problem and incidents through to closure
• Have a consciences attitude to all areas of IT Governance:  Audit, Operational Risk etc. Ability to accurately collect and publish support KPI metrics as well as management documentation maintenance for the team 
• Ensuring that weekend release work is well planned
• Confident in managing and implementing code/config change/release into prod environments
• Be able to build strong, collaborative relationships with the business, application development teams, Infrastructure and other functional groups globally
• Customer focused and professional
• Be an excellent communicator and listener
• Operating systems knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Shell Scripting, Python, Perl)
• Good working knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar)
• Experience in supporting and administering DevOps tools as part of the deployment pipeline e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Elastic, Jira etc

Desired Skill Set :

• Front Office, Risk Management
• Knowledge and experience in IT automation
• Knowledge and understanding of the Site Reliablility Engineering principles
• Understanding of Agile practices and principles
• AWS Practitioner Certification or similar
• Autosys setup and configuration
