Job Summary

 

The Operations Division provides the support and control infrastructure that enables the firm to develop and deliver financial products throughout the world. Working with the Sale and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions in a manner which maximizes profitability and minimizes risk. The Division is responsible for the management and processing of securities, Derivs, FX transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management and various client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the Bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients’ changing needs.

 

Responsibilities

 

Sales Support as a process mitigates the risk and to provide better service to clients. Hence it requires lots of interaction with clients, Sales Persons, Traders, Desk Assistants and other various team involved in downstream Processing.

 

Effectively manage all risks and exposures associated with the various trading activities across the books for Sales Clients and ensure all exceptions have been closed out in a timely manner; Manage Risk between Front End & Middle Office systems for all Bonds & Cash Equities products at trade level.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

  • This position requires liaising with respective regional Trader’s, Sales Persons & other regional middle office teams and make sure Bank’s external client’s queries are resolved immediately and effectively.

 

  • Always think from Client perspective and proactively provide better service to clients and cover the risk in the process

 

  • The individual needs to work very closely with the desks and ensure all Bookings and checks are completed with 100% accuracy, within the timelines mentioned in SLA.

 

  • Requires strong attention to details, should have very good understanding on Cash Bonds & Equities products, fair understanding of FX / derivatives products will be an added advantage. Prior experience of team management & process transitions would be helpful & preferred

 

  • Should be able to work independently and manage tight deadlines, should posse’s excellent communication skills and familiarity with financial abbreviations and basic functioning of market.

 

  • Should be Enthusiastic / High energy / should be able to suggest solutions.

 

  • Any knowledge on Fintech tools or passion towards learning new technologies along with a good logical mindset would be an added advantage.

 

 

Qualification:

 

Basic Qualifications - Any graduate, preferably commerce (MBA - desirable), 8-10 years of relevant experience, good working knowledge of Excel and always shows interest to take that extra step in Client Service. Previous work experience in Sales Support will be an added advantage

Flexibility to work in shifts AEJ,  UK / US hours
