Role description
• This position is to provide administrative support to the local branch manager in our Milan office
• Significant phone contact at a senior level, both with clients and internally
• Extensive use of Outlook to include Inbox management
• Extensive and complex diary management and internal/external meetings co-ordination, agenda, presentations, client lists, etc.
• Organisation of internal and external client events
• General assistance and secretarial works
• Extensive and complex travel arrangements: co-ordination of flights, tickets, accommodation and ground transportation
• Providing absence cover to other team member as required
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
• Japanese, English and Italian language essential.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and to work on own initiative in an extremely busy environment where constant reprioritisation is required
• Very effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone manner.
• Proactive, flexible team player with well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly learn to navigate the organisation
• Confident in dealing with senior individuals and able to get focus as necessary
• Organised and detail oriented.
• Well developed awareness of the importance of confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and solid secretarial skills.
• Experience of working at an Investment Bank or similar environment is preferred.
