Role Description:

  • selling private alternatives, mutual funds, separately managed accounts and exchange traded funds to the RIA & Bank Trust community
  • expanding and deepening relationships with financial advisors to meet or exceed sales targets, retain existing assets, cross-sell and grow AUM
  • utilizing firm resources including but not limited to SS&C, Salesforce, Allego, Seismic, Zoom and other technologies
  • maintaining CRM database with accurate and up-to-date activity, sales pipeline, and advisor information
  • managing travel and entertainment budget wisely
  • an ability to thrive in a team-based sales culture that expects collaboration, information sharing and partnership across client facing groups

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • at least 7-10 years of wholesaling experience with a proven track record of sales and growing a territory
  • an established network of relationships with RIA, Bank Trust and Private Wealth Groups in the territory
  • demonstrated ability to represent a multi-product firm in a highly consultative manner
  • deep investment acumen and comprehensive knowledge of general investment principles and capital markets
  • residing in territory with 75%+ travel
  • series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63 and 65) licenses required
  • CIMA, CAIA, CFA or other industry designations preferred
  • clean U-4, clean compliance record required

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
