- Take ownership of production issues and major incidents, actively participating in incident calls when required.
- Proactively identify, escalate and manage technical and delivery risks across the platform.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

- Deep expertise in automated testing methodologies, including embedding test automation and TDD practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong technical background across database, messaging/queueing, cloud and observability technologies, with the ability to ramp up quickly on specific tools.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers, without necessarily holding formal line management responsibility.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging confidently with business analysts, business stakeholders and senior partners.
- Experience taking ownership of production issues and major incidents, including active participation in incident calls.
- Track record of driving continuous improvement in engineering practices, tooling and delivery methodology.
